the country mile’s last show

a band called the country mile, from my hometown, is calling it quits for various reasons. they played their last show on new year’s eve at the smith’s basement in rock island, il. i saw these guys first play with my friend tony’s band maylane. i really liked them and it’s a bummer that they’re breaking up, but these things happen.
