coachella is looming ever nearer

76 days and counting. april 17th, 18th, and 19th envelope a weekend of amazing music and beautiful california weather. to list a few of my favorites who will be performing: the cure! morrissey, mike motha fuckin patton and rahzel! fleet foxes, beirut, the yeah yeah yeahs, franz ferdinand, conor oberst, the black keys, crystal castles, late of the pier, band of horses, liars, amanda palmer, and of course the timeless sir james paul mccartney. and shepard fairey, artist and creator of the obey epidemic will be there as well. plus many many more!

franz ferdinand streaming new album “tonight”

you can listen to franz ferdinand’s upcoming album tonight that comes out here in the states this tuesday the 27th. i’m listening to it as i type this and all is great so far. go check it out.

“ulysses” is the first single from franz ferdinand’s upcoming album tonight, which is due out in the states january 27th, and the 26th in the uk.

i love this song, but this video is creepy as hell. that’s all i have to say.

franz ferdinand’s upcomming album tonight

fellow scotts hailing from glasgow, franz ferdinand, have a new album entitled tonight coming out in the states january 27th, 2009. their first single “ulysses” is available for a listen on their myspace.

the kyte player just to the left of their friends list on their myspace page has pictures and videos of performances. franz ferdinand will be playing one US show in california on dec. 15th, then as of dec. 29th they will be touring europe till atleast april. stay tuned for more show listings.
