well you don’t have to. 36 crazyfists posted the entire album on their myspace. go listen to it and get hyped for next tuesday, the 27th, when it drops.

in honor of the new 36 crazyfists album, “the tide and its takers,” out the 27th, i’m really feeling the 36cf lately. this song has to be one of my top faves of theirs. from their album, “a snow capped romance,” this is…

“skin and atmosphere” (this is not the official video, but it’s interesting nonetheless)

it’s ok, you can admit it, you’re impressed. great song huh? if you liked what you heard check out these posts, and be sure to pick up the new album, “the tide and its takers,” out the 27th of this month.

from the upcoming album, “the tide and its takers,” releasing the 27th of this month, comes “we gave it hell.” i’m so excited, 36 crazyfists are one of my favorite bands. like i said in this post, they only make good music, it’s impossible for them to write bad music. every song, every album. other songs that i’ve heard from this album are heavier, more like “rest inside the flames,” but this song sounds more like “bitterness the star.” it’s heavy, but his singing is more melodic on the chorus. it’s great that they’re changing it up, a nice mix of old and new 36cf.

“we gave it hell”

listen to more tracks from “the tide and its takers” here.

hailing originally from alaska, are one of my absolute favorite bands, 36 crazyfists. they have completed their fourth major album and set a date. “the tide and its takers” will be released may 27th of this year. their last album, “rest inside the flames” came out just november of 06. not only are they extremely proactive, but it is impossible for them to write a bad song. some bands hit and miss, make a good album then a bad one, but not these guys. every song, every album is solid.

there is a single from the new album on their myspace called “absent are the saints,” and of course it’s magnificent. i think the only difference since “bitterness the star” is that they keep getting heavier.

also, the first 500 people to pre-order “the tide and its takers” will receive “the oculus” ep for free. click here to pre-order.

i am super excited about this album!!

here is a song from each of their previous albums in order…

“slit wrist theory” from bitterness the star

“at the end of august” from a snow capped romance

“i’ll go until my heart stops” from rest inside the flames
