About me

the main focus of this site is a way for me to share the music i love with the people i like. but seriously, i love music so much that i can’t keep it to myself. lucky you.

i’m 23, and in college at an illinois university working towards a degree in english and creative writing. i’ve always loved music. i play guitar, bass, and drums, and pretty much anything that i get my hands on. also, i try to sing and like to think it’s not too terrible. i have a very broad pallet of music. i like to find new music, and share it with the people i know or the people who i think would enjoy it. also i like to be shown new music, so if there is something you think i would like please let me know.

music history: i grew up on the beatles, simon and garfunkel, elton john, the temptations, barry white, frank sinatra, dean martin, and classical composers, to name a few: mozart, and beethoven (from my mom). queen, led zeppelin, metallica, alice in chains, the doors, c.c.r., and guns n’ roses (from my dad). and of course i have my older brother to thank for having great tapes and cd’s for me to steal growing up. also i am a child of the 80’s so new wave is ingrained in my dna. i have branched way out from those roots, but they are my earliest memories of music, so they will always be very special to me.
